Home Race delivers strong results for Marchiante and Yildirim in Carrera Cup Italia Round 1

At their home round in Vallelunga, Omnia Racing saw great improvement from both drivers. Mattia Marchiante impressed with a comeback to P4 in the Rookie Class, while Bati Yildirim showed consistent pace and strong starts. A confident step forward in the Carrera Cup Italia campaign.

Omnia Racing’s home round at Vallelunga ended on a high note, with both Mattia Marchiante and Bati Yildirim showing strong progress and determination throughout the second round of the Carrera Cup Italia.


The spotlight was on Mattia Marchiante, who delivered a brilliant comeback drive in Race 2, climbing several positions and breaking into the Top 20 overall. His performance earned him an excellent P4 in the Rookie Class, a clear sign of growth and confidence behind the wheel. After a learning-focused start to the weekend, Mattia’s result in the final race confirmed his rapid development in one of the most competitive one-make series in Europe.


“Mattia showed real grit today,” said the Team Manager. “Fighting through the field and finishing P4 among the rookies at our home race is a huge step forward. We’re very proud of how he handled the pressure.”


Meanwhile, Bati Yildirim also enjoyed a weekend of solid progress. Showing great consistency and strong starts in both races, Bati continued to improve lap after lap, gaining crucial experience and putting in competitive lap times. His upward trajectory is evident, and the team is excited about what’s to come.


“Bati is growing every time he gets in the car,” added the Team Manager. “His starts were excellent and his race pace is becoming more and more consistent. He’s heading in the right direction.” With both drivers showing signs of momentum, Omnia Racing now looks ahead to the next round with renewed confidence and the clear goal of pushing even further.
