Strong Weekend for Omnia Racing in Imola: Quintieri just misses podium in Race 2

A strong weekend for Omnia Racing at Imola in Round 3 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse: Quintieri finished P4, Marchiante P5, and Caramuscia P7 in Race 2, with all three drivers battling in the front half of the field. Consistent pace, maturity, and progress mark another important step forward for the team.

Round 3 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse saw Omnia Racing deliver one of its most competitive weekends yet, with all three drivers consistently fighting in the front half of the field at the iconic Imola Circuit.

In Race 2, Ermanno Quintieri led the charge with a commanding performance that brought him close to the podium, ultimately finishing in P4 after a fierce battle for the top three. Mattia Marchiante was right behind in P5, having also contested for a podium spot before settling into a strong and mature drive. Christian Caramuscia completed the trio with a solid P7, showing excellent pace and consistency throughout the race.

Earlier in the day, Race 1 saw the Omnia Racing drivers start the weekend on the right foot. Marchiante finished P6, with Quintieri in P8 and Caramuscia in P11, all showing solid racecraft and strong pace on the technical Imola layout.

“It was a strong weekend across the board,” said the Team Manager. “All three drivers performed at a high level, and we were in the fight for top positions in both races. We’re proud of the progress we’re seeing.”

For Mattia Marchiante, the weekend also served as a crucial opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Carrera Cup Italia round. Using the track time and racing conditions to fine-tune his approach, Mattia demonstrated both speed and maturity that will serve him well in the next challenge.

“Mattia made the most of every session — both to fight for results here and to sharpen himself for the Carrera Cup,” the Team Manager added. “That kind of mindset is what makes the difference at this level.”

Omnia Racing now turns its focus to the next rounds of both championships, confident in the momentum built so far and with clear targets ahead.
