Round 2 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse brought unforgettable emotions for Omnia Racing, as the team celebrated its first-ever podium finish with Ermanno Quintieri at the Red Bull
Ring in Austria.
After showing strong pace in Qualifying and securing P5 in Race 1, Quintieri stepped up once again in Race 2, delivering a performance full of grit, control, and speed. Battling closely with the front pack from lights to flag, he crossed the line in P3, claiming his first podium as a Porsche driver and Omnia Racing’s first podium in the series — a milestone moment that marks a major step forward in the team’s debut season.
“This podium means everything to us,” said the Team Manager. “Ermanno drove with heart and precision, and to see him on the podium is a reward for the effort the whole team has put in. It’s a special day we’ll never forget.”
On the other side of the garage, Christian Caramuscia bounced back after a tough retirement in Race 1 with a solid and consistent Race 2. He showed great focus under pressure and continues to make progress with every session behind the wheel.
“Christian showed true character after a difficult start to the weekend. His performance in Race 2 proves he has what it takes to compete at this level,” the Team Manager added.
With its first trophy now proudly displayed, Omnia Racing leaves Spielberg more motivated than ever to continue climbing the ranks in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse.
The next round promises new challenges, but also new opportunities — and Omnia Racing is ready.
